Café Lune: A Café-Library Designed for Slow Moments

Café Lune is a hybrid concept between a café and a bookstore, a place designed for slowing down, reading, exchanging and enjoying a moment for yourself. Guests can order a coffee or a pastry, sit down, browse through a curated selection of books, and even leave a book they’ve already read to share with others.
The concept is built around the idea of community, culture and simple pleasures: drinking a coffee while discovering new stories, meeting people, and creating a space where books circulate as freely as conversations.
For Café Lune, Michèle Studio worked on the creation of the brand’s visual identity, starting with the logo, color palette and overall visual universe. The objective was to design an identity that felt soft, warm and inviting, reflecting the calm and poetic atmosphere of the place, while remaining modern and distinctive.
The visual direction was carefully crafted to create a strong sense of coherence between the space, the concept and the brand image. The color palette was selected to evoke serenity, comfort and creativity, while the logo was designed to be simple, memorable and aligned with the literary and lifestyle spirit of Café Lune.
Michèle Studio also designed the café menu, ensuring that the typography, layout and graphic details were consistent with the brand identity. The menu became an extension of the brand experience, reinforcing the atmosphere of Café Lune through thoughtful design and attention to detail.
This project reflects a sensitive and intentional approach to branding, where visual identity supports the concept, enhances the customer experience and creates a strong emotional connection with the place.
